Gavin "liked the product so much he bought the company" back in 1993. He is the managing director of RCS and also a director of Evolving Solutions. Gavin has an Associate Diploma in Computer Studies as well as a Masters Degree in Business Administration and has worked in the computing industry since 1980. His achievements include designing, project managing and implementing the SA Housing Trust Rent Management System which won an Australian Productivity Council Gold Award as well as rolling out many RCS implementations including the highly successful "inRent" solution and Harris Scarfe Credit Card system.
Karl has worked in the computing industry for over 20 years and joined RCS in 1984. Karl has an Associate Diploma in computing studies and previously worked for other software developers as a programmer and designer. Areas of specialty are back office processes which include General Ledger, Purchasing, Creditors, Stock & Debtors.
Tom joined RCS as a Senior Software Consultant in July 2007. Tom completed his bachelor of applied Science in Computer Studies at the South Australian Institute of Technology (Uni SA) and has 20 years experience in the IT industry. He has experience in both retail and manufacturing having written and maintained systems for Radio Rentals and Mitsubishi Motors Australia and having performed the role of Customer Support Consultant for Origin Australia, serving customers such as Philips Electronics, Munich Reinsurance and Rentlo.
Peter graduated from Uni SA in 1984 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Studies. He has written systems for many customers in many areas including the mining industry, medical, baking & distribution, packaging, manufacturing, retail and warehousing. After contracting for RCS for several years he joined RCS permanently in 1998. Areas of specialty include warehousing & distribution, POS and WEB POS.
Pauline joined RCS in September 1993 just 3 months before Gavin decided to purchase the company - and what a treasure he inherited! Pauline originally hails from Northern Tasmania and has had many years experience in office management in various industries, as well as a few years as a Dispensary Assistant in Pharmacy. Pauline is our First Point of Contact for RCS and Evolving Solutions and handles all aspects of the office management.
Mervyn grew up in Cape Town in South Africa, and moved to Johannesburg in 1988, where he started a career as a programmer for an IT company supporting the mining industry. In 1993 he started working as a freelance programmer supporting the local advertising industry and various hotels. He joined RCS in April 2008
